Captain – Private – 38 m M/Y (Permanent)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Captain to join a well-run private motor yacht on a permanent contract. The yacht operates exclusively for private use, with a relaxed but highly professional program, used seasonally during the Mediterranean summer and based in Italy.

Start date: ASAP
Itinerary: Mediterranean (summer use only)
Base: Italy
Package: Salary paid in Euros, leave 38 days

Experience / Skills required:

• Previous experience as Captain on similar-sized yachts
• Fluent Italian speaker (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Mediterranean
• Experience running a private program with high standards of safety and compliance
• Hands-on, organised, and proactive management style
• Ideally based in Italy or willing to relocate

Qualifications required:

• Master 500 GT (minimum)
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
