Required is a person truly interested in ship's husbandry, boats and their care, and maritime skills first and foremost rather than the lifestyle, a career minded person (male for shared cabin reason) who wishes to both learn and advance their career, generous leave but applicants who actually like the job essential, as is being Europe based for leave repatriation purposes. One season of maritime employment a great advantage, but a useful practical hands-on trade that has led to going to sea would also be taken into consideration.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
