Chief Steward(ess) position - 49m - Motor yacht

Description

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Seeking an experienced, personable Chief Stewardess for a private, foreign-flagged 49m motor yacht. Vessel is based in Fort Lauderdale for the most part with trips to the Bahamas.

Ideal for someone seeking work/life balance. You may go home in the evenings and on weekends when in Fort Lauderdale; live-aboard is welcome.

We are looking for longevity in the programme and have had long crew tenures over the years.

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident, as the vessel is run by a U.S. corporation
  • ENG-1 certificate
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • Discharge book
  • Ability to demonstrate a high standard of service and consistency
  • Manage guest interactions during trips while handling behind-the-scenes tasks during guest-off periods
  • Apply charter-yacht service practices while maintaining the ethos of a private yacht
  • Start: May 1st
  • Monthly salary $8,000 to $9,000 DOE
  • Annual bonus and Christmas bonus
  • 38 days paid leave
  • Training time and funding after one year of service

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
