2nd Steward(ess) position - 49m - Motor yacht

Description

Must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Seeking an experienced, personable Second Stewardess (3-4 full seasons) for a private, foreign-flagged, 49m M/Y. Vessel is based in Fort Lauderdale for the most part with trips to the Bahamas.

Ideal for someone that would love a work/life balance. You are able to go home in the evenings and on weekends when in Fort Lauderdale. Live aboard is welcome as well.

Must be able to work side by side with the Chief Stewardess and be a solid support for her. Must be confident with formal, plated, family-style service, bartending, housekeeping and laundry.

We need the following in the ideal candidate:

  • US citizen or permanent resident - as the vessel is run by a US corporation.
  • ENG-1.
  • Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Discharge book.
  • Start: May 15th.
  • Monthly salary $5500 - DOE.
  • Annual bonus.
  • Christmas bonus.
  • 38 days paid leave.
  • Training time and funding after one year of service.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
