Captain - 28m - Support vessel

Description

Seeking a personable, hands-on, Captain for a newer model, 28m support vessel. Yacht Master Offshore at minimum.

6 month contract.

4 fulltime crew.

Vessel will travel with the mother ship for the most part. However there will times that you move independently for short periods. Fantastic overall program with travelling. Excellent crew and ownership.

Ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Engineering experience/knowledge is preferred. Vessel runs with a Mate/Engineer but some assistance will be necessary.
• Hands-on work ethic. Must be willing and happy to assist wherever is needed. No attitudes or egos. Genuine team player.
• Solid verifiable references.
• Water sports or sailing background would be fantastic as the guests love to surf, kiteboard, etc.
• B1/B2 or US passport, STCW, ENG1, Yacht Master Offshore or better, Engineering certificates AEC 1&2 (if possible).

Start: Immediate in South Florida

Salary: 6000 euro per month. 6 month contract at this time.

MLC contract, full medical.
