90' private yacht is looking for a Mate/Deckhand. Can be a team with a Stewewardess.

Start Date: May 1, 2026

Cruising Area: U.S. East Coast (Annapolis, Nantucket, Charleston through November) | Winter/Spring 2027: Key West & Bahamas

About the Program:

Family-oriented ownership group. The owners are active, welcoming, and travel with a large family, creating a fun and engaging onboard atmosphere while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

The vessel runs a balanced cruising and fishing program, with a strong emphasis on fly fishing. We currently tow a brand new 30' Scout tender and are in the process of upgrading our tender program further.

The yacht completed an extensive refit in Winter 2026, and is maintained to a high standard. The program is well established and scheduled through December 2027, offering excellent stability and long-term potential.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mate/Deckhand who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a positive, team-oriented crew. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain quality cruising and fishing experience in a well-run, active program.

Team applications are welcome, as this position can be paired with a Stewardess role for the right candidates.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Captain with docking, anchoring, and navigation support

- Line handling, fender work, and watch standing as needed

- Full exterior maintenance: washdowns, waxing, teak care, stainless polishing

- Assist with tender operations (30' Scout) and towing procedures

- Support fishing program, including fly fishing setup and gear management

- Assist with guest services during family trips

- Conduct routine checks of vessel systems and assist with light engineering tasks

- Maintain vessel cleanliness and readiness to a high standard

Qualifications:

- Previous yachting or strong boating experience preferred

- Interest or experience in fishing (fly fishing a plus)

- Valid U.S. driver's license

- STCW certification

- Ability to travel with the vessel and work a flexible schedule

- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-first mentality

- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean vessel

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

- Tender driving experience (center consoles a plus)

- Mechanical or systems knowledge

- Familiarity with East Coast and Bahamas cruising grounds

- Fishing, especially fly fishing experience
