Chief Officer position - 43m - Motor yacht

Description

44 meter private/charter yacht is looking for a Captain with a Master or Chief Mate 3000

Busy commercial yacht operating primarily in the Bahamas and Florida, with potential charter activity in New England, so we are looking for motivated, experienced candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced charter environment.

Please see the current requirements below:

1. Chief Officer (Permanent)

  • Certification: Master 500 or Chief Mate 3000 (commercially endorsed)
  • Salary: $9,000/month
  • Leave: 60 days
  • Start Date: On or around May 1
  • Notes: Strong operational background required; Bahamas cruising experience is highly advantageous
  • Chief Officer will take over as Captain when the Captain is on leave.

We are looking for candidates who are professional, team-oriented, and thrive under the demands of an active charter program. Strong communication and a positive, can-do attitude are essential across all roles.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
