Travelling Butler - Dubai

We are working with a UHNW family based in Emirates Hills to help them hire a professional Travelling Butler to join their large private household. The family has recently moved into a substantial villa and is seeking a highly experienced candidate who can deliver impeccable service standards and support the smooth day-to-day running of the residence.
This is a very busy household with three young children and a team of approximately 20 staff. The Butler will work closely with the Principal and senior household team to ensure the highest levels of service, organisation, and presentation throughout the property.
This is a live-out position and only candidates currently based in Dubai will be considered. You MUST have a UK or EU passport holder due to the family’s travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide formal and informal service to the Principal, family members, and guests
• Oversee table service, including formal dining, silver service, and event service
• Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, and refreshments, throughout the day
• Ensure all reception areas, dining spaces, and guest areas are presented to the highest standards
• Assist with the organisation and service of private events and family gatherings
• Coordinate with kitchen and household staff to ensure seamless service
• Greet guests and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Manage household inventories, including tableware, glassware, and service items
• Assist with packing and preparation for family travel when required
• Liaise discreetly with the Principal regarding preferences and daily service requirements
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times within the household

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a Butler within a UHNW private household
• Strong understanding of formal service standards and household protocol
• Professional, polished, and discreet presentation
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large household team
• Proactive and attentive with strong attention to detail
• Experience supporting high-profile or international families preferred
• UK or EU passport holder is ESSENTIAL
• Currently based in Dubai

Package

• Working schedule: 6 days a week
• Live-out position – no accommodation provided
• All travel expenses are covered when accompanying the Principal
• Visa and health insurance provided
• Salary: 16,000 – 20,000 AED net per month
