We are working with a UHNW family based in Delray Beach to help them hire an experienced Head of Housekeeping to oversee the daily operations across five private residences. This is a senior leadership role requiring exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and a hands-on approach to maintaining impeccable household standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an established and long-standing housekeeping team, ensuring seamless operations, and upholding the highest levels of cleanliness and presentation across all properties. You will work closely with senior household staff and play a key role in maintaining a well-structured and efficient working environment.

This is a live-out position, and candidates must be locally based. Flexibility is required, particularly when the family are in residence, and the ability to respond to urgent matters when needed is essential. There is excellent scope for long-term growth within this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and coordinate housekeeping teams across multiple residences
• Oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization
• Assess staffing requirements, create schedules, and allocate daily tasks efficiently
• Train and mentor staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and best practices
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement improvements where required
• Support hands-on cleaning and special projects when necessary
• Liaise with the Director of Residences to coordinate contractors and post-renovation cleaning
• Maintain household inventory, ensuring consistent stock levels and cost control
• Assist with the preparation and execution of events alongside household teams
• Keep detailed records, including cleaning logs, inventories, and warranties
• Ensure clear communication across all properties and team members
• Remain on call for emergencies to ensure smooth household operations

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior housekeeping or household management role within a UHNW environment
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Experienced in managing multiple properties simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
• Discreet, professional, and accustomed to working within confidential environments
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable
• Reliable with personal transportation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Package

• Working schedule: 5 days a week (40 hours), with flexibility required
• Live-out position – candidates must be local to Delray Beach
• Paid holiday allowance

• Salary: $50 per hour plus overtime
