The boat

The vessel is a 45 m private M/Y with 8 crew on board with an EU flag.

The project

A busy 45m private M/Y is looking for a First Mate available to start as soon as possible.

The initial contract will be seasonal; however, we are seeking a candidate interested in a long-term commitment, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position if the season goes well.

We are looking for someone ready to step up to a larger vessel, eager to learn from an experienced captain, and willing to assist with paperwork while actively contributing on deck as part of the team.

You will also be in charge of the tender, an 11m high-performance Boston Whaler.

The desired profile

  • We are looking for a candidate who has CAP200 or 500 or OOW and ECDIS is mandatory and someone with experience navigation during the night.
  • Someone with solid Tender Driving skills and good team spirit
  • You must speak fluently English.
  • You must be extremely positive, relaxed, have a good sense of human relations, and no issues with authority.
  • Need to be around Antibes for interview

Salary: negotiable, depending on your profile.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
