We are seeking a professional and capable Deck/Mate to join a privately operated 35m M/Y for the 2026 summer season. This is a seasonal position from April to September, with the possibility of extending into the winter shipyard period for the right candidate.

The yacht is currently in the shipyard, ahead of a private summer cruising schedule with owner trips from May through August. The vessel is run strictly as a private program with owners who prefer a formal, respectful relationship with the crew. The yacht operates with a small team of five, so the Deckhand/Mate must be confident working within a tight‑knit crew and be comfortable taking on a versatile, hands‑on role.

The Deckhand/Mate will support the Captain with all day‑to‑day deck operations, navigation assistance, watchkeeping, tender handling, and exterior upkeep. You should be familiar with Mediterranean cruising, able to maintain a high standard of deck presentation, and confident assisting with safe operations, owner activities, and guest movements. Strong seamanship, good communication, and a professional manner are essential.

The yacht winters in Palma, offering potential for extended employment during the shipyard period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a well‑run private program with structure, and a respectful owner relationship. German language is a strong plus, as it will support communication with the owner.
