We are seeking a capable and motivated Third Officer to join a prestigious 70m classic motor yacht operating a dual­season private program. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing officer looking to step into a structured deck department with strong mentorship, longevity, and career progression.

The successful candidate must hold an OOW 3000GT or higher and be confident standing watch. You will join the vessel on 1 May and slot into a 2:1 rotation alongside the Second Officer, taking over their duties while they are on leave.

We are ideally looking for someone with some existing bridge experience who is comfortable navigating, maintaining bridge routines, and supporting the navigation team. Candidates transitioning from commercial shipping with a solid watchkeeping background are very welcome to apply.

This is a hands­-on role that combines both bridge and deck responsibilities. In addition to your watchkeeping duties, you will work closely with the deck crew and assist with planned maintenance across the deck department, including LSA, FFE, and medical equipment. A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to integrate into a professional, supportive deck team are essential.

Salary is DOE, with an increase after successfully completing a 3­month probation period.
