Viking Crew require a 3rd Engineer to join a 50m+ private motor yacht.

3rd Engineer – 50m Private Motor Yacht

Start: Mid April to Mid October
Location: Mediterranean
Program: Private

A well-maintained 50m private motor yacht with a Mediterranean cruising program is seeking a 3rd Engineer to join the vessel.

Working under the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will assist with the daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all engineering systems onboard. This role suits a hands-on and motivated engineer looking to gain further experience on a professionally run yacht.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Engineer with daily engine room operations
  • Carry out planned maintenance and system checks
  • Support troubleshooting and repairs across all mechanical and technical systems
  • Maintain engine room cleanliness and organisation
  • Assist with bunkering and machinery monitoring during operations

Requirements

  • Valid STCW, ENG1, and relevant certificates

Certificates and Qualifications:
