Yacht Manager – Southampton (London considered)

I have an exciting opportunity for a Yacht Manager to join a leading global yacht management company. Based in Southampton (London considered), you will act as the central point of contact for your assigned yachts, coordinating between crew, company teams, and owners to ensure each vessel is managed to the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage new yachts joining the fleet, ensuring all handover documentation, certifications, and manuals are complete.
• Coordinate with DPA, technical teams, and crew to support smooth day-to-day operations.
• Oversee audits, inspections, and monthly reporting to owners.
• Assist with shipyard refits, monitoring progress, managing variations, and keeping owners informed.
• Handle crew matters, including training, certification, employment documentation, and regular engagement.
• Support financial management by reviewing accounts, assisting with budgets, monitoring spending, and liaising with Captains on critical purchases.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, support emergency response, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Shore-based experience as a Yacht Manager or in a similar role.
• Previous on-board experience in an Officer capacity.
• Experience with shipyard refits.
• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Multilingual skills highly desirable.
• Dynamic, approachable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
