An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Second Officer to join a 75m private motor yacht with a busy and rewarding program. This is a fantastic platform offering strong sea time, a supportive crew environment, and down-to-earth owners who value a professional, family-style onboard culture.

The role/program:

  • Stand navigational watches and support all bridge operations
  • Hands-on involvement in deck operations and maintenance
  • Operate a range of tenders including single screw, twin screw, and jet tenders
  • Private program with active cruising and minimal time spent sitting in port
  • Upcoming itinerary includes the United States, Norway, Canada, and a return to the United States
  • Start date: early to mid-May
  • Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements

What we’re looking for:

  • OOW 3000gt minimum (Chief Mate 3000 preferred)
  • Ideally at least one solid year of experience as a Second Officer
  • Around 5+ years’ experience on yachts of a similar size
  • Proven longevity and commitment within previous roles
  • Strong navigational knowledge with solid bridge watch experience
  • Confident tender driver across multiple propulsion types
  • Paperless bridge experience preferred
  • Strong deck background with a hands-on approach and willingness to support deck operations
  • Valid B1/B2 and Schengen visas required; Canadian visa advantageous
  • True non-smoker
  • Interest or knowledge in road cycling and maintenance of associated equipment considered a bonus

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
