A single, elderly gentleman with a lovely home in Point Piper, Sydney is seeking a live-in Housekeeper/House Manager/All rounder to assist him with meals, homemaking and other general household duties. He has a regular nurse in attendance when and if required but a background in care/nursing would be highly advantageous.

Although very independent he does require someone to prepare simple meals; run errands such as grocery shopping, etc. There will be plenty of time off allowed as the Principal does spend time away from home so flexibility is available for days/start/finish times.

Accommodation will include your own self-contained apartment, with separate entrance, all located on the lower level of the main house.

We are seeking someone with the following attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role with available references
  • Australian long term resident with a view to long term employment
  • Computer savvy
  • Excellent housekeeping skills and a caring attitude
  • Ability to liaise and co-ordinate outside trades, pool cleaner/gardener/etc.
  • Driver's licence/First Aid/Police check

Annual Salary of $70,000 + Super for suitable candidates.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
