The restaurant is in Cannes; it is not on the sea-front.

The project

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie ready to start working as of mid/end March 2026. This is a permanent contract - CDI contract.

We are seeking a Chef de Partie who is ready to evolve on a long-term basis. This restaurant is a local place with a strong clientele of regulars. We aim to offer improved dish quality while maintaining continuity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chef, Second Chef, management, and kitchen team.

Typical duties include:

  • Prepare food according to the recipes established by the Chef and the establishment’s standards
  • Ensure the quality of dishes served by adhering to hygiene and food safety standards
  • Ensure the setup and proper functioning of your workstation
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to guarantee smooth and efficient service in a timely manner
  • Handle food while respecting hygiene and food safety regulations
  • Train and supervise kitchen apprentices in their daily tasks
  • Monitor the quality of products used and manage the necessary inventory for your station

Profile desired:

  • Passion for food and cooking, trained in multiple cuisines, strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine
  • Significant experience in a similar restaurant role
  • Proficient in food preparation and service techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of food handling techniques
  • Keen eye for detail and strong flair for food presentation
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Solid experience working as a Commis and as a Chef de Partie
  • Ability to cope with last-minute changes
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene & food safety in the kitchen
  • Ideally hold HACCP training certificate
  • Patient, kind and able to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisation & time management skills
  • Fluent French; other languages welcome
  • Possess a car and a valid driver's license

Working rhythm:

You will be working five days per week with two days off per week.

French permanent contract - CDI
Salary: Based on profile and experience 2300 € nets / month

Work Experience Requirements:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
