Stewardess / Hairdresser - 80m new build private/charter

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Housekeeper/Hairdresser to join an 80m new build private/charter motor yacht currently in the Netherlands, ahead of the upcoming season.

This is a chance to join a new build programme at launch stage and help set the tone and standards for the interior from the outset.

The Role:

  • Provide professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and blow dries
  • Support interior operations across housekeeping and laundry
  • Assist with establishing interior procedures during the new build phase
  • Private/charter programme
  • Start date: Early April

Please note: while hairdressing is part of the role, the level of salon usage is currently uncertain, so flexibility is essential. This will predominantly remain an interior position.

This would suit someone ready to take ownership of the housekeeping department while still covering hairdressing duties when required.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years' experience required on vessels over 70m+
  • Minimum 1+ year longevity on the same vessel
  • Responsibility in housekeeping leadership and wardrobe management
  • Must be confident delegating and managing housekeeping standards
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills essential
  • B1/B2 visa preferred
  • Strong land-based hairdressing experience
  • Advanced hair skills including colour work and precision cutting (men's & women's)
  • Confident in guest-facing situations
  • Capable of working independently
  • Professional, organised, and adaptable
  • All standard yachting certifications

What's On Offer:

  • Rotation: 3:1
  • Salary: DOE
  • Opportunity to join a new build at an early stage

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
