Live-In Nanny/Family Assistant – Abu Dhabi

Silver Swan is currently working with a UHNW family in Abu Dhabi to assist in the search for an experienced Live-In Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their two young children, a 7-year-old boy and a 2.5-year-old girl. This is a hands-on role within a fully staffed household, requiring a warm, proactive and highly organised professional who can confidently oversee both children’s daily routines and development.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for school communication, homework support, organising engaging age-appropriate activities, and ensuring limited screen time. The family values an active and structured environment, promoting healthy routines and positive behaviour.

You will be supported by an assistant nanny when required, particularly during periods when the Principal is travelling. The household employs 6–7 staff members, and this role will also involve supervising staff, coordinating cover when team members are absent, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the children’s environment. The family also has an older daughter who is supported by two dedicated nannies. The position is Monday to Friday, with accommodation provided. The family has a dog and a cat, so comfort around pets is essential. The start date is ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast and oversee the children’s morning routine
• Manage school drop-off preparation and afternoon pick-up arrangements
• Arrange staff cover when team members are on leave
• Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing environment at all times
• Support the 7-year-old with homework and school projects
• Maintain regular communication with the school
• Plan stimulating, age-appropriate activities and outings
• Monitor and limit screen time in line with family preferences
• Ensure children’s bedrooms, wardrobes and play areas are clean and organised
• Manage children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Supervise and coordinate assistant nanny support when required
• Oversee and supervise 6–7 household staff members within the children’s environment

Ideal Candidate:

• European candidates currently based in Abu Dhabi preferred
• Previous experience working within a UHNW household
• Confident caring for multiple children of different ages
• Strong understanding of early years development
• Experience supporting primary school homework
• Active, energetic and physically fit
• Highly organised with natural leadership ability
• Trustworthy, discreet and dependable
• Comfortable around dogs and cats

Package:

• Working schedule: Monday to Friday
• Visa and health insurance provided
• Accommodation provided: shared room with another Nanny
• Salary: 20,000 AED net per month + DOE
• Start date: ASAP
