Second Officer/Bosun (OOW 3,000T or Unlimited) required for a 50 metre motor yacht. The yacht is well known to us, excellent employers and conditions and run to the highest standards. Applicants should be in Europe for interview, and hold a B1/B2 visa, as vessel is currently in the Western Mediterranean but will embark on a wide range and possibly remote cruising that has been this vessel's usual itinerary. Applicants should have yacht experience and be happy as Bosun to assist on deck and with tender driving, as well as the bridge duties where extensive experience of running their own watch is essential. Best suited to a newly qualified OOW (male or female) from a yachting background who still wants and is able to enjoy that lifestyle, is looking for plenty of sea miles to further their career and certifications rather than a home port or rotational working. English as a first language or complete fluency is required. Excellent salary to be negotiated and by experience.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
