DECKHAND 50M MY:

An exciting opportunity for a motivated Deckhand to join a 50m private motor yacht operating an adventurous and varied itinerary, often cruising off the beaten track. This role offers a chance to build strong foundations in ISM procedures, chart work, and technical deck operations within a hands-on, supportive team.

Role highlights include exterior maintenance, deck operations, tender handling, and supporting guest activities.

  • Upcoming programme includes a UK yard period (late March - end of May), followed by a Scandinavian summer season.
  • Opportunity to gain experience cruising remote and unique destinations.
  • Start date: 13th March.
  • Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

Requirements: Minimum one year’s experience in the yachting industry; PBL2 minimum; Yachtmaster advantageous; PDSD; valid driving licence; Schengen visa if required.

What’s on offer: Salary USD 2750–3500 (DOE); Leave: 3:1 rotation; Adventurous cruising itinerary including Scandinavia and remote destinations.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
