Second Officer 70m

We are looking for a Second Officer to join a 70m private motor yacht with a dual-season program between Dubai and the Indian Ocean.

• Split role with approximately 30% bridge time and 70% deck involvement
• Support the Chief Officer across navigational duties, bridge operations, passage planning, and watchkeeping
• Oversee deck operations and lead the deck team day-to-day
• Hands-on tender work, including towing and operating a 16m tender
• ISM/ISPS responsibilities and scheduled safety equipment checks
• Participation in planned maintenance systems (IDEA/Pinpoint) and upkeep of all deck areas
• Start date: ASAP - by the 11th February

Requirements: OOW 3000gt minimum. Ideally 5+ years' experience onboard with career progression through the deck department. 2nd Officer experience preferred; newly qualified OOW with strong bosun experience on larger yachts may be considered.

Candidate must be a strong communicator with proven leadership ability and a confident tender driver experienced managing larger tenders. Additional advantageous skills: Divemaster, avid fisherman, or trade background such as carpentry.

Offer: Salary – 5500 Euros; Leave – 60 days per year. Dual-season itinerary: Dubai, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean.
