About this role

Lead Deckhand – Private – 100m+ Motor Yacht

Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for an experienced Lead Deckhand to join a highly desirable 100m+ Motor Yacht. The vessel operates on a busy dual season itinerary and runs a private program.

Start date: Immediate – within 3-4 days

Experience and attributes required:

  • 3+ years of yachting experience
  • At least 1-2 years of Lead Deckhand experience on 80m+
  • Strong tender driver over 10m+
  • Confident in leading a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications required:

  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Yachtmaster (Mandatory)
  • HLO/HDA (desired)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
