About the restaurant

The restaurant is in Cannes, it is not on the sea-front.

The project

We are looking for an experienced chef, available to start working as of March 01st, 2026. This is a permanent contract (CDI).

Typical duties include:

  • Conferring with clients to determine their meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restrictions
  • Preparing customized meal plans for clients based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs
  • Shopping for meal ingredients as well as necessary kitchen tools and equipment
  • Inspecting meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality
  • Preparing meals in clients' kitchens in accordance with food health and safety regulations
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation

Profile Desired:

  • You have a passion for food and cooking, and are especially trained in several kind of cuisine, for instance Bistrot Gourmet cuisine and you have a very strong knowledge of mediterranean cuisine.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experiences working extensively in traditional French / mediterraneean cuisine
  • You are able to cope with last-minute changes
  • You are well versed in traditional Japanese cooking techniques
  • You have a strong attention to detail in terms of presentation and other aspects
  • You can maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene & food safety in the kitchen
  • You are patient, kind and have the ability to work as part of a team
  • You have strong organisation & time management skills
  • You speak French & English fluently, in addition to Japanese; Other languages are welcome
  • You have a car and a valid driver's license

Working Rhythm:
You will be rotating shifts with another chef in the team. You would be working 15-16 days a month, in shifts of 12 to 14 hours per day. Salary - based on experience and profile.
