1st Engineer – Special Purpose Vessel 80M+

Start Date: 20 March - contract 11 weeks. End approx 5th June.

We require an experienced Senior Engineer to join a special purpose vessel, supporting the Chief Engineer and assuming full responsibility for engineering operations in their absence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise engineering staff and manage maintenance via IDEA software
  • Maintain engineering logs, inventories, and technical reports
  • Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, and class regulations
  • Lead safety drills and promote a strong onboard safety culture

Requirements

  • Second Engineer Officer III/2 (minimum)
  • STCW management-level certification
  • ENG1 (no limitations)
  • Security Awareness
  • B1/B2 & C1/D visas
  • Welcome CVs with PSV/Oil industry experience

Salary - DOE

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
