About this role

Chief Officer – Private 45 m+ M/Y
We are recruiting a Chief Officer for a 49m private motor yacht based in Italy. The yacht runs with a single Mediterranean season and operates to the highest standards. This is a permanent position offering longevity and stability for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have proven experience on similar-sized vessels and hold an OOW ticket as a minimum.

Start date: 1 April
Itinerary: Mediterranean (single season), based in Italy
Package: Salary DOE, paid in Euros, leave 60 days

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 1 year’s experience as Chief Officer on 50m+ yachts
• Solid navigational and bridge management skills
• Excellent leadership and crew management abilities
• Proactive with strong communication skills
• Previous experience in the Med preferred

Qualifications required:
• OOW (minimum, essential)
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
