Housekeeper/Cook

We are working with a private couple based in Downtown Dubai to help them recruit an experienced live-in housekeeper/cook for their brand-new four-bedroom apartment. This is a long-term position suited to a highly organised and self-sufficient individual who can take full responsibility for maintaining the residence to a five-star standard at all times.

The apartment is not a full-time residence, however when the principals are in situ the successful candidate will be expected to manage the household seamlessly, overseeing cleaning, laundry, light cooking and general property care. The role requires someone who can work independently, take initiative and truly care for the home.

This is a permanent, long-term opportunity with excellent stability. The principals plan to move to a significantly larger apartment in Dubai within the next three to four years, and the role will naturally evolve with the property. An immediate start is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining the apartment to an immaculate five-star standard at all times
• Carrying out daily cleaning, deep cleaning and organisation of all areas
• Managing laundry and wardrobe care when the principals are in residence
• Preparing simple, healthy home-cooked meals as required
• Monitoring the property for any maintenance or repair issues
• Liaising with contractors and sourcing quotes for works, submitting for owner approval
• Overseeing deliveries and services related to the property
• Ensuring the apartment is fully prepared prior to the principals’ arrival
• Managing household supplies and replenishing stock as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience working in private households or luxury apartments
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail with strong housekeeping standards
• Confident preparing simple, healthy meals
• Trustworthy, discreet and reliable
• Looking for a genuinely long-term position
• Comfortable living in and taking full responsibility for the home

Package

• Working schedule: 5 days a week when the family are not in residence. 6-7 days a week when they are, depending how long their stay is.
• Visa and health insurance provided
• Holiday allowance with one return flight home per year
• Live-in accommodation provided
• Salary: 10,000 – 15,000 AED net per month (DOE)
