Bosun — 60m motor yacht

  • Bosun position leading a deck team of two deckhands.
  • Busy private/charter programme with strong guest and watersports operations.
  • Bahamas and Florida cruising until April/May, then crossing to the Mediterranean; Mediterranean summer season fully booked with approximately 10 weeks of confirmed charter.
  • Operating a 39ft Nautique with triple outboards.
  • Start date required before 10th February to join ahead of the next trip.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum one year of experience as Bosun, or a strong Lead Deckhand ready to step up.
  • Yachtmaster required.
  • Confident tender driver with strong watersports capability.
  • Solid deck maintenance background; painting and teak experience highly beneficial.
  • PWC Instructor preferred but not essential; OOW modules an advantage.
  • B1/B2 visa required.
  • Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

What's on offer:

  • Salary USD 4,000–4,500 plus charter tips.
  • 38 days leave per year and a 13th month bonus.
  • Busy charter-heavy Mediterranean season.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
