Experienced Deckhand/relief Chase Boat Captain with strong tender driving skills to join a 75m private yacht currently in New Zealand for a yard period. This is an opportunity to gain sea miles while working with a tight-knit, long-standing crew.

The role:

  • Strong tender-driving focus; ability to confidently operate the 55ft Wajer chase boat is highly preferred
  • The vessel is in the yard in New Zealand until end of March
  • Following the yard period: Pacific crossing, one-month stay in New York, then across to the Med for the summer season
  • Start date: 15th February
  • B1/B2 preferred but not essential

What we're looking for:

  • 1–2 years of experience on similar-sized yachts
  • Proven tender-driving experience; chase boat handling highly advantageous
  • Yachtmaster offshore - essential
  • Candidates who value longevity and enjoy an active, world-cruising program

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
