Bosun 75m MY:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bosun with an OOW to join a 75m private yacht currently based in New Zealand for a yard period.

Itinerary:

  • The vessel is in the yard in New Zealand until end of March
  • Following the yard period: Pacific crossing, one-month stay in New York, then across to the Med for the summer season

What we are looking for:

  • OOW 3000gt in hand, or candidates who have their oral exam booked prior to departing at the end of March
  • Solid experience on 50m+ yachts
  • Prior Bosun experience preferred, open to strong Lead Deckhands looking to step up
  • Candidates who value longevity and enjoy an active, world-cruising programme
  • B1/B2 preferred but not essential

What is on offer:

  • Salary: 6000 USD
  • Leave: 3:1 rotation
  • Start date: 1st March

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
