Deckhand/Runner 80m MY:

We have an opportunity for a Deckhand with running skills to join an 80m private motor yacht currently in West Palm Beach. This is a professionally run, predominantly Med-based vessel and this role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sport and fitness.

The role:

  • Full deckhand position supporting all exterior operations, maintenance, tender and watersports activities, and guest activities.
  • Active, fitness-focused programme influenced by the owner's lifestyle; guest trips often include running, cycling, swimming, and hiking, with crew expected to participate.
  • Start ASAP in West Palm Beach.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum one year of experience on similar size yachts; candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong running ability and fitness.
  • Strong interest in sport and fitness, specifically running; must be able to run at least 10 km.
  • Male only due to cabin arrangements.
  • Professional presentation, non-smoker, no visible tattoos.
  • B1/B2 visa essential.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: DOE.
  • 90 days paid leave per year and two return flights annually.
  • Discretionary boss-on bonus scheme and a 13th month bonus paid pro-rata every six months.
  • The crew share a passion for sports and fitness, both during work trips and in their personal time.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
