Deckhand/Dive Instructor for a 65m+ motor yacht. A dynamic opportunity for a qualified Dive Instructor to join a private/charter motor yacht with an adventurous, fast-paced programme. The crew is fitness-oriented and work with family-focused owners who enjoy varied itineraries and active guest trips.

The role:

  • Dual Deckhand and Dive Instructor position with hands-on involvement across deck operations.
  • Support dive operations during dive-focused trips, including liaising with local agents, dive guides, and arranging logistics.
  • Remain flexible during periods without diving activity.
  • Join the vessel in the yard ahead of redelivery to learn the setup and systems, then transition into operational cruising.
  • Private/charter programme with a fast-paced, varied itinerary; likely Mediterranean season following yard period.
  • Start date: 20th February.

Requirements:

  • Certified Dive Instructor (essential).
  • Some previous yacht experience required; candidates with under one year considered.
  • Confident, proactive, and adaptable with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate third-party dive logistics.
  • Fit, active, and comfortable in a high-energy, adventure-focused environment.
  • B1/B2 preferred but not essential.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
