Rotational Chief Officer Needed for 120m+ Private Motor Yacht

Applicants must have proven experience on 80m+ motor yachts and excellent, fully verifiable references. References will be verified prior to progressing candidates.

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Officer (First Officer) to join a 120m+ private motor yacht, operating worldwide for UHNW principals. The successful candidate will support the Captain in all navigational, safety, and operational matters, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, crew management, and vessel performance.

Requirements:

Proven experience as Chief Officer / First Officer on large private motor yachts (80m+)
Valid Chief Mate Unlimited license (or equivalent)
Extensive knowledge of navigation, passage planning, and bridge management
Strong understanding of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and safety management systems
Experience overseeing deck operations, watchkeeping, and deck crew management
Ability to lead, train, and motivate a large deck team
Experience coordinating refits, maintenance, and shipyard periods
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
Strong organizational and reporting skills
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
Flexibility to work irregular hours and extended cruising schedules
Valid passport and availability to travel worldwide at short notice
Excellent, verifiable references from comparable vessels

Package:

Monthly salary: USD 18,000 (Rotation: 1 month on / 1 month off – paid during both on and off periods)
