Receptionist/Admin – Passenger Ship –100m +

Start: 1st February 2026
Location: Europe / Middle East
Package: Salary in Euro – 12 weeks / 12 weeks

Experience and attributes required:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably with some guest or client interaction.
  • Yachting/cruise ship experience preferable but not essential – main experience needed is reception/guest services.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes, with strong administration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with crew members and guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure and stick to deadlines in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Must be comfortable working in a heavily guest-facing role during the season. Keen to work closely alongside the Purser and receive training to assist with administrative and operational tasks.

Qualifications required:

  • Fluent in English. Spanish/Portuguese speaking is advantageous.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate Level 2
  • Crowd and Crisis management
  • Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
  • STCW updated
  • Seafarer Medical Certificate
  • Seaman Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
