Chief Stewardess

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and service-driven Chief Steward(ess) to lead the interior team onboard a private 50 motor yacht.The ideal candidate will be confident managing interior operations, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards across all interior departments.

The yacht is based in Italy with a summer Mediterranean cruising itinerary

The succesful candidate will join a supportive team and respectful environment. A like mindset is required!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage the interior team
• Oversee all aspects of guest service, including formal and informal service
• Manage housekeeping standards, laundry, and inventory
• Plan table settings, themes, and events as required
• Create and maintain SOPs for interior operations
• Coordinate closely with the Captain and Heads of Department
• Handle provisioning
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and yacht protocols

Requirements

• Previous experience as Chief Steward(ess) on yachts (ideally 40m+)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and excellent guest-facing manner
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage changing schedules
• Work Experience Requirements:
• All applicants must have previous experience in working on cruise ships or yachts matching the following requirements:

Experience length: min 3 years
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
