Silver Swan is currently seeking an experienced Personal Assistant for a busy family based in Mayfair. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the schedules and daily organisation of the mum and her children, while also supporting the Chief of Staff.

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm. It will be based on-site at the family’s residence, with the flexibility to work remotely only when the family are travelling. You must be happy with being in the office 5 days per week.

The successful PA will be joining a fully staffed household and will work closely with the House Manager to ensure seamless organisation of the children’s busy lives. This role would be ideal for a personal assistant with a nanny background who is highly experienced in managing the children’s schedules. The successful candidate must be female, highly organised, and confident in managing multiple busy and ever-changing schedules.

Candidates MUST have the right to live and work in the UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing school and private tutor schedules for their 2 children
  • Organising doctor, dentist, and other personal appointments in advance
  • Coordinating extracurricular activities, clubs, and events
  • Keeping track of parties and social engagements, including gift purchasing
  • Diary management across multiple, often changing schedules
  • Providing weekly reports and updates to the principals
  • Liaising closely with the House Manager and other household staff
  • Ensuring all arrangements are executed smoothly and efficiently

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Female (as requested by the family)
  • Proven experience working with UHNW families and children
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle demanding schedules
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • IT literate, with strong knowledge of Excel or other scheduling tools
  • Discreet, professional, and trustworthy
  • A degree in education/teaching or nanny background would be a strong bonus

PACKAGE

  • Salary: £60,000 gross per annum
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm
  • Based full-time at the primary residence (remote only when family are away)
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
