Deckhand – 80m motor yacht delivered last year and run to exceptionally high standards.

Start date: 17th February.

Role:

  • Full deckhand position covering all exterior operations and guest-facing duties.
  • Strong emphasis on deck maintenance, including varnish, paintwork, sealant work, and detailing.
  • Tender driving, water sports support, watchkeeping, inventory management, and stock control.
  • Currently Med-based completing warranty works following a busy summer season.
  • Mediterranean summer season planned for 2026, with potential Caribbean winter programme (TBC).

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience as a Deckhand on 50m+ yachts.
  • Demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
  • Solid deck maintenance skillset, with particular strength in varnish work.
  • Advantageous but not essential: Heli Deck Assistant, B1/B2, PWC instructor.
  • Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
