2nd Engineer opportunity aboard private 55m+ M/Y cruising N/E Australia and the Pacific.

Start date: Dec/Jan 2026
Package: Competitive salary paid in AUD plus Superannuation
Itinerary: East Coast Australia and the Pacific

Only Australian residents or those with the legal right to work in Australia will be considered.

Experience/Skills required:
Minimum 2 years’ experience on superyachts in a similar role. Excellent troubleshooting and fault finding skills essential. Experience with Caterpillar engines would be advantageous. Must be a hands-on and proactive engineer able to assist with all engineering and maintenance duties aboard, including on the tenders, on deck and the interior. Professional appearance with an enthusiastic approach to career.

Qualifications required:
Y3 or AMSA equivalent. Hands-on trade background is highly regarded. STCW (fully updated) with PDSD. Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with 6 months’ validity).

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
