About this role

Sole Engineer – 30m Private/Charter M/Y. Exciting opportunity for an experienced yacht engineer to join a new team and owner on a busy private/charter vessel.

Start: Early–Mid January

Itinerary: Single Med season, Winter base La Spezia

Package: Salary Euros / 60 days leave

Experience / Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an engineer on yachts 30m+
  • Proactive and problem-solving approach
  • Dynamic, energetic, with a positive attitude
  • Charter experience is a plus
  • Team player willing to assist other departments as needed

Qualifications required:

  • Y3 / STCW III/3 (preferred)
  • Y4 / EOOW
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
