I’m currently partnering with a leading yacht management company to appoint an experienced leader to head up their Yacht Management function, in their Monaco office.
This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and enjoys balancing people leadership with high-level client engagement.
This position will suit a confident, collaborative leader who can inspire a team, maintain exceptional standards across a diverse fleet, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and captains alike.
The Role You’ll take overall responsibility for the performance, development, and delivery of the Client/Yacht Management team, ensuring owners receive an outstanding, consistent service. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll contribute to strategic decision-making while remaining hands-on with complex client and operational matters.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Client Managers, setting clear expectations and maintaining consistently high service standards
- Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with owners, captains, and internal stakeholders
- Acting as a senior point of reference for yacht management and maritime-related decisions
- Contributing at leadership level alongside other specialist heads, supporting broader business objectives
- Encouraging a proactive feedback culture, resolving issues early and driving continuous improvement
- Overseeing yacht allocations, workload planning, and the evolution of efficient, scalable processes
- Supporting team growth through training, upskilling, and the smart adoption of technology
- Ensuring seamless collaboration between offices and departments to deliver a joined-up client experience
- Identifying cross-service opportunities that add value for clients and support commercial growth
- Maintaining oversight of client accounts, invoicing processes, and contractual awareness across the team

- Proven experience leading teams within yacht management or a closely related maritime environment

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
