Mate

30-meter classic wooden motor yacht. Operates as a privately owned vessel with a long-standing, active cruising program. Vessel has been under the same ownership for more than 15 years and has made annual voyages to Alaska during that time.

The typical cruising season runs from May through October, exploring Southeast Alaska and British Columbia. The program focuses on water sports, fishing, and exploration, with an emphasis on hands-on seamanship and a well-maintained, traditional yacht.

The crew consists of three: Captain, Mate, and Chef (the Chef joins seasonally for the Alaska cruise). During the off-season, she is moored in her boathouse in Seattle, where maintenance projects and refit work keep the Captain and Mate engaged full-time.

This is a full-time, salaried position that includes health insurance.
