Job Summary:

As the Assistant Villa Manager, you are responsible to assist the F&B Manager and F&B Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the business. You will be involved in service operations ensuring smooth operations, development and coaching of staff.

The Assistant Villa Manager will oversee tasks related to F&B and other areas and is required to ensure the guests’ total satisfaction.

Background, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3 years Diploma Hotel school
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management specialised in F&B Service preferred but not essential
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at a similar level at a 5-star or full-service hotel
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in F&B Service: high standard Restaurant or Room Service 5-star Hotel

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills, with excellent grooming standards
  • Provide courteous, professional, efficient, flexible and personalised service at all times, committed to delivering a high level of service
  • Be conversant with all services and facilities offered
  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages
  • Flexible to respond to a variety of work situations and able to work independently while managing a team
  • Team player with a positive attitude and immaculate personal appearance and hygiene
  • Experience and focus on guest-facing service
  • Knowledge and experience with high-end porcelain and silverware, with ability to care for items to the highest standards
  • Provide discreet and smooth service for the principal and guests at any time
  • Adaptable to fast and changing requests from the principal
  • Discretion is paramount; confident serving VVIP guests to the highest standard
  • Provide and participate in staff training for the wider team and take the lead when required
  • Knowledge and interest in worldwide cuisine; confident answering questions from guests and service team
  • Ability to speak English fluently
  • Experience in the high-end restaurant industry, Michelin star exposure
  • Excellent timekeeper and team leader

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
