Silver Swan is currently working with a returning UHNW client in Les Gets to assist in hiring a temporary Chalet Host to support the Chef and the Management Couple we have placed for the season. This position runs from 10th December until 15th January and requires someone polished, attentive, and highly service-orientated to ensure the chalet is kept to the highest standards throughout the festive period.

You will focus primarily on maintaining immaculate housekeeping standards across all guest areas and bedrooms, while also delivering refined table service and warm, discreet hosting. Working closely with the existing team, you will contribute to the smooth running of the chalet and create a seamless, luxury experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards across bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
  • Conduct daily room refreshes, linen changes and turndowns
  • Ensure all guest areas are consistently pristine, organised and beautifully presented
  • Deliver high-quality table service for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner
  • Support the Chef with meal service and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist with laundry, linen care and stock rotation
  • Prepare the chalet for guest arrivals, ensuring all details meet luxury standards
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests
  • Assist the Management Couple with general hosting duties
  • Maintain discretion and a polished, guest-focused approach at all times

Ideal Candidate

  • Must hold a EU passport or the right to work in France
  • Must hold a Driving License
  • Strong housekeeping and service background, ideally in chalets or luxury hospitality
  • Immaculate attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Confident delivering refined table service
  • Warm, discreet and professional manner
  • Flexible and proactive with a strong team ethic
  • Comfortable managing multiple duties during busy periods
  • Able to commit to the full contract dates

Package

  • Working schedule: 6 days a week
  • Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract

  • Salary: €1,000 net per week + DOE

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
