Chalet Host – Les Trois Vallées

Silver Swan is currently searching for an exceptional Host to work for our client in their delightful chalet in the Les Trois Vallées, France, from the 4th of December 2025 to April 2026.

The successful candidate will support the Chalet Manager in all housekeeping and service of the chalet and the guests. Host responsibilities may include cleaning rooms and communal areas, serving afternoon tea, overseeing fires, helping with canapé service and pouring drinks, as well as assisting with greeting chalet guests and ensuring they have their needs met. The role requires availability throughout the duration of the season.

Please note: Candidates must hold an EU passport or the right to work in France, as visa sponsorship is not offered. Applications from candidates without the right to work in France will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Support to Chalet Manager throughout the winter season
• Housekeeping and cleaning of the bedrooms and bathrooms including management of linen
• General cleaning of some central areas
• Prep and cooking of breakfast on chef and manager's day off
• Serving afternoon tea; setting fires; closing curtains; helping with breakfast and dinner set up/service and serving evening drinks/canapés
• Assistance with guest in-resort service

Ideal candidate:

• Previous 5* chalet host experience
• Cooking and meal-preparation experience
• Bubbly, charismatic, engaging, intelligent, pro-active, and responsible
• Conscientious with a can-do attitude and willing to undertake varied responsibilities
• EU passport required
• Must be able to drive and be confident driving in the snow – this is imperative for the role

Package:

• Salary: From €1700 net per month plus tips and bonuses
• Accommodation provided
• Meals on shift provided
• Start Date: 4th of December 2025 until April 2026
