Wilsonhalligan have a Project Manager position available based in Monaco / Italy.

Our client is seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join their growing team in Europe. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing refits and NB projects and act as the owner's technical expert and representative.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the owner's representative for NB or refit projects, liaising with shipyards, designers, contractors and classification societies.
  • Monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual specifications, industry regulations, and quality standards. Oversee and manager detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment. Drive the project management team for the project : interior project manager, project engineer, project surveyor, consultant and experts.
  • Regularly report to clients on project status, risks and milestones.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections and quality control assessments.
  • Manage changes in project scope, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Attend FAT, HAT, SAT lead delivery procedures, and final acceptance processes.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of Superyacht construction, engineering system, and a regulatory compliance.
  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
