Female Head Housekeeper – Dubai

We are working with a private family based in Jumeirah Islands to help them hire a full-time Head Housekeeper. The family reside in a beautiful five-bedroom villa and is seeking an experienced professional to lead and work alongside a small domestic team to ensure the home is maintained to the highest possible standard.

The household team includes two Housekeepers (one of whom also acts as Family Cook) and a Family Manager overseeing overall operations. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day housekeeping, organisation, and presentation of the property, ensuring the smooth running of the household in line with the family’s values of calm, privacy, and efficiency.

Female candidates only are requested by the family.

Key Responsibilities

•  Oversee and participate in daily housekeeping duties, ensuring all areas of the villa are maintained to an exceptional standard
•  Lead, train, and motivate two Housekeepers, fostering a positive and professional team environment
• Ensure all cleaning procedures and checklists are followed accurately and consistently
• Maintain and monitor household inventories, cleaning products, and consumables
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the Family Manager
• Manage laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation with meticulous attention to detail
• Care for indoor plants and oversee outdoor cleaning, including terraces and garden furniture
• Assist with pet care and ad-hoc errands as required
• Support the Family Manager in planning and hosting events, including table settings, service, and coordination of staff
• Pack and unpack luggage and prepare the household for family travel as required
• Uphold household privacy and ensure the family’s peace and well-being are prioritised at all times

Ideal Candidate

•  Previous experience as Head Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper within a private residence or luxury hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and motivate others
• Hands-on, discreet, and detail-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and materials
• Calm, organised, and able to work efficiently in a busy household
• Comfortable working around young children and family environments
• Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude
• Basic cooking skills would be an advantage but not essential

Package

• Working schedule: 5 days per week, up to 9 hours per day (plus 1-hour lunch break)
• Visa and health insurance provided
• 22 working days annual leave
• Live-out position – transport costs included in salary
• Annual flight allowance: AED 3,000 (after one year of service)
• Salary: 23,000 AED per month
