Our private UHNW clients are seeking a professional and experienced House Manager/Butler to join their second residence in Belgravia, London. The successful candidate will be formally trained, highly organised, and capable of delivering an exceptional level of service. The role will require occasional travel, primarily to Switzerland and occasionally to other international destinations, sometimes at short notice.

Schedule: Full-time. Core hours 9am - 4pm when clients are not in residence and with maximum flexibility and long working hours when the clients are in residence.

Duties will include:

Providing front-of-house service for guests, including table service and drink preparation
Setting and serving formal and informal meals with immaculate presentation
Overseeing daily operations of the residence and acting as the main point of contact on-site for the team including Head Housekeeper and 2x Housekeepers.
Managing and creating schedules for a team of housekeepers
Liaising regularly with the management company to coordinate maintenance and household projects
Managing contractors and service providers to ensure works are completed to the highest standard
Maintaining household manuals, inventories, and operating procedures
Ensuring all household systems (security, AV, lighting, HVAC) are functioning optimally
Maintaining the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and service at all times
Being the principal’s first point of contact for the London residence.
The ideal candidate will:

Have prior experience in a similar role within UHNW private households
Be a formally trained in service with excellent table service and cocktail-making skills (candidates with previous experience in yachting would be welcomed)
Be highly organised, proactive, and discreet
Be well-presented, polished, and professional
Demonstrate strong leadership and team management abilities
Show proven longevity and commitment in previous employment
Be willing and able to travel at short notice
Be fluent in English (French would be a bonus)
Be service-oriented, adaptable, and hands-on
Be highly committed to their work and happy to offer flexibility when needed
Start Date: Flexible

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 gross per year (depending on experience)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
