Assistant AV/IT – Private 100m+ M/Y

• Start: 15 November 2025
• Location: Europe /Middle East
• Package: Salary in Euros, 176 paid days leave

Experience and attributes required:

• 3 years working on a yacht 50m+ or cruise ship in similar positions
• Proven experience with Cisco network infrastructure, including switch configuration, VLAN management, wireless LAN controllers, and network monitoring.
• Working knowledge of VMware virtualisation environments and basic server maintenance.
• Practical experience with Crestron control systems, NVX video distribution, and DM-NAX audio networking.
• Competence in Tier-1 AV and IT support and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IP-based AV architectures, structured cabling, and signal distribution.
• Experience using the AMOS maintenance management system for task tracking, reporting, and inventory management.
• Team-oriented individual accustomed to working within a disciplined and structured technical department.
• Guest-facing and well-presented, always maintaining a professional appearance.
• Strong communication skills, with a proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Commitment to continued technical learning and professional development.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and contribute to procedural improvements.

Qualifications required:

• Familiarity with Active Directory, Veeam backups, and network security tools (e.g. Cisco ISE, Palo Alto).
• Advanced experience with audio systems, Dante or AES67 audio transport and DJ equipment
• STCW updated
• Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Seaman Discharge Book
