Fantastic opportunity for a two person team; full-time Captain and Head Stew/Chef to operate and manage a new 24-meter neo-classical design “trawler” style yacht. The boat was purchased in Turkey, where it was built. It has been imported to the US where it is flagged. The boat is primarily docked and operated in the Exumas (Great Exuma, Emerald Bay) where the owners are building a house with a private dockage. The owners plan to use the boat several weeks out of the year and make her available for select short charters otherwise.

There are 3 guest staterooms and crew quarters for 3 in 2 ensuite rooms. Owners would prefer to find a husband/wife team to manage the yacht and serve as Captain/Head Stew and chef.

The successful candidate will have all the necessary credentials, mechanical aptitude, experience, and temperament to operate the yacht both as a private and occasional charter yacht.  The owners are experienced as this is their third yacht to be used primarily as a day boat.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  24-29m
  • Yacht types:  motor or sailing
  • Experience length:  min 5 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
