Chief Engineer – Private 40m M/Y Candidates currently in Europe only please

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer for a 40m private motor yacht. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking for a long-term commitment within a professional and well-run program.

Start date: 15 October 2025
Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros with 38 days leave per year

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Sole Engineer on 30m+ yachts, or as Second Engineer on 50m+ yachts
• Strong hands-on ability with both mechanical and electrical systems
• Proactive, problem-solving approach to maintenance and operations
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Positive, team-oriented character

Qualifications required:
• Minimum EOOW with MTU certification (Y3 preferred)
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Male only due to cabin arrangements
• Non-smoker with no visible tattoos
